Since 1968, Jeffco Action Center, a human services
nonprofit, has provided an immediate response to basic human needs and
promoted pathways to self-sufficiency to Jefferson County, Colorado
residents and the homeless.

Jeffco schools are starting early this year on August
12th so the Action Center's school supply distribution will also be
early -- August 4th to August 9th. Please consider making a donation
to help.

Jeffco Action Center's fifth annual Where Action Matters
fundraising breakfast on May 14th was a huge success with 480
friends and supporters in attendance and nearly $325,000 raised!

Community First Foundation (formerly LMC Community Foundation)
has created a new online tool designed to enrich donors' knowledge
about the nonprofit sector and encourage charitable giving in metropolitan
Denver. All credit card donations to the Action Center are made
through GivingFirst and Community First Foundation pays the credit
card processing fees, which typically are three percent per gift.
This means that 100 percent of gifts made through GivingFirst.org
goes directly to the Action Center!

Where Action Matters Tours
Have you ever wondered what it takes for the Action Center to distribute
two tons of food every day, what happens to a family when they walk through
the front door seeking assistance or what the inside of the shelter looks
like? Come take a look at how the Action Center makes it all happen!
